adidas Originals Key Trainer – Keyshawn Johnson P.E. | Officially Unveiled

By - March 25th, 2014

Created for Keyshawn Johnson when he made his professional football debut in 1996, the adidas Key Trainer materialized all the brashness Johnson possessed on the football field. Best known for his comment and subsequent title for his autobiography, “Just Give Me the Damn Ball,” Johnson’s impact on the game was almost immediate when he helped the New York Jets reach AFC East Division title in 1998. You will find same tenacity and in-your-face attitude in the retro-ed Key Trainer’s silhouette, a turf shoe now made for the streets. Part of the adidas EQT (or adidas Equipment) line, the Key Trainer also marks the return of adidas’ Feet You Wear technology, an innovative outsole design based on the various “pads” found on the sole of your feet, which allows natural motion and support. In the original white and black configuration with Hunter Green accents, the adidas Originals Key Trainer will be available on Saturday, April 5th, via adidas Originals retailers worldwide.
