If you thought Reebok was just going to stop with the dope collaborative projects that helped to mark 2013 as the Insta Pump Fury's return to prominence with the turn of the calendar, then you thought wrong. This year has been equally prolific and now another leader in the sneaker game, Sneaker Politics, puts their own unique spin on the inflatable Reebok silo. Dubbed "Rougarou," the model draws its name and design influence from the lore and tales of Politics' own culture-rich Louisiana, where a werewolf-like beast hunts down and kills Catholics that don't follow the rules of Lent. The story of Rougarou leads to the use of brown horse hair alongside greens, blacks, and reds that give the sneaker a sinister look sure to scare away haters. Of course, the timing of the release comes right in the middle of the Lenten season, falling on April 11 at Sneaker Politics followed by April 12 for other select Reebok retailers for $170.
