Honda CX500 Tuned by Kustom Researchhttp://honda.com/”>Honda CX500 is not a common motorcycle for heavy modification work, but http://kustomresearch.com/”>Kustom Research in New York did an impressive job turning a stock 1978 model into a showstopper. Founder and builder, Thomas Parrish, left no parts untouched, as he proceeded to modify and customize parts where necessary. Its monotone color scheme brings out the simple beauty of the vintage motorcycle, while color-coded engine helps to blend the bulky parts into the bike. Parrish’s attention to detail is what sets this bike apart from other CX500, and the meticulous work can be seen below.

What a beautiful machine!!!!
I am building the same bike into a desert flat trace racer designed machine, very similar but with flat bars and longer wider seat etc. I would love to know what exhaust you used and what carbs? Did you get it to run strong with this carb and exhaust set up???  I am doing my best to figure out this design as well and would love some input on this.

Again what a beauty!

Thank you.....
