It’s been a great few months for watch-lovers. First there was BaselWorld and now there are plenty of direct-to-market releases like this new Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33. You can almost hear all the fans draw a collective sigh at its specs, even if Omega tired to slip it out under the radar. Originally designed for professional use by pilots and astronauts (and maybe it would even be worn by Luke himself), the X-33 uses a dual analog/digital display with a level of precision that has actually been certified by the European Space Agency and NASA for use in situations when seconds can literally mean the difference between mission success and failure. Co-designed by astronauts and used on the International Space Station, there’s not much more we can say about its resume than where to buy one. Head to the Omega homepage to learn and see more.
