At this week’s New York International Auto Show, MINI is set to debut the 2015 Countryman, which is expected to be the crossover’s swan song. (An all new model, based on the BMW Group’s UKL platform, is said to be waiting in the wings.) This latest version sees the popular Countryman receive an updated infotainment system, new safety features and aesthetic tweaks. They include a revised grille, LED day time running lights and new 17-inch alloy wheels. There are also LED fog lights and standard underbody guards on all-wheel drive systems. No changes to the powertrain, though the Countryman S gets an upgraded 1.6-liter turbo that produces 190 bhp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Check out detailed looks below.
