We’ve already seen collaborations between TV’s favorite animated family http://thesimpsons.com/” target=”_blank”>The Simpsons and http://lego.com/” target=”_blank”>LEGO — via the http://freshnessmag.com/2014/01/09/lego-x-simpsons-house-set/” target=”_blank”>Springfield house and http://freshnessmag.com/2014/03/26/the-simpsons-x-lego-minifigures-set/” target=”_blank”>minifigure set — and now the two American pop-culture institutions are coming together again. This time around, the project centers around an episode of TV’s longest running primetime scripted series, set to air May 4. That Sunday night, Fox will broadcast episode no. 550, entitle “Brick Like Me,” in which the Simpsons universe is depicted in LEGO. The episode has been two years in the making and represents the most ambitions installment in the program’s 25-year history.
