To help celebrate hitting the big 1-0-0, Maserati shocked everyone in New York when a new range of GranTurismo MC Centennial Editions made their first (unexpected) appearance. The Centennial Editions build on the already-dream capturing GT MC cars by offering both an MC Coupe and MC Convertible with another level of customization. Both the coupe and its drop-top counterpart will offered in exclusive colorways, offer a wide variety of wheels with four special finishes capped with centenary logos in the center, and demonstrate three-layer paint technology that provide a deeper pop. Both the Magma Red and Inchiostro Blue are nod’s to the company’s heritage as they are also the official colors of Bologna, Italy, where the company was founded in 1914. The interior colorway chosen will be based on the exterior finish, including black or white leather seats with red, white, or blue contrasts. The door sills will also have celebratory centenary logos to further define these MC’s as special editions. The Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Editions will be available alongside the rest of the lineup beginning this July.
