The first Audi TT was tuned for speed on the streets. Packing a sporty style, over the years it has grown to be more and more aggressive it wasn’t until this year that the Audi TT has really grown up. Dubbed the Audi TT Offroad Concept, the new concept car features four doors, a raised ride height, and four individual seats. It also gives us a more distinct preview of what Audi has in store for their TT family, with the automaker could turn the original sports car into a family of vehicles capable of spanning a range of segments. A lot of the usual TT pieces are intact, including the virtual cockpit set-up, where all of the information as well as the speedometer and tachometer details are fully digital and displayed on a 12.3-inch display located behind the steering wheel. Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system that puts the regular 2.0-liter TFSI engine with an electric motor connected with a six speed S tronic dual-clutch system that delivery 408 hp and 479 lb/ft of torque. More stats continue to pour out of the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, but we also know that it is expected to hit 123.8 mpg. See more views after the jump and expect to see more from this TT, even if it ultimately may pick up a Q model name.
