Reebok has mined its early ’80s archive to launch two iconic styles that celebrate versatile style and comfort over peak performance. The upcoming pack comprises the Classic Leather, originally released in 1983 and done up in a no-frills white leather build, and the equally spartan Freestyle Hi. The latter, first introduced in 1982, was the first sneaker targeted specifically toward women, and was the first aerobic hi-top to combine support, stability and fashion. Together, the duo of sneaker styles represent a time before athletic footwear became overly complicated, offering a timeless appeal that’s remained relevant to this day. The kicks launch in stores and online starting May 16th.
