By - May 6th, 2014

A display of his wiliness to do anything for the sake of art, Pharrell Williams endured two hours of motionless immersion in plaster recently, as a way create a full body cast for his collaborative artwork with friend Daniel Arsham (Co-Founder of SNARKITECTURE). Part of the 40 or so works to be shown at the upcoming “G I R L” Exhibition curated by Pharrell, some two hundred pounds of broken glass will be “reform” within the finished cast to shape a life-size figure of the modern day Renaissance Man himself. With hashtag #TheFuturePharrell implying the statue’s name, the work can be seen along side works by KAWS, Tracy Emin, Takashi Murakami and others starting on May 27th at Galerie Perrotin Paris.
