By - May 12th, 2014

Soccer-centric Japanese brand F.C.R.B. teams up with Casio G-Shock to cook up a special collaborative edition of the DW-2600 watch. Historically a popular model for streetwear joint ventures, the piece has a case and matching strap in subdued black, along with a face printed with a grey and black camo pattern. The usual features are present and accounted for — superior shock resistance, 200M water resistance, countdown timer, 1/100 second stopwatch and auto-calendar — all wrapped up in a package branded with the F.C. Real Bristol trademark. The special-edition DW-5600 is set to launch for ¥?19,000 May 24th at SOPH. locations in Japan.

Release Date: May 24, 2014 (Saturday)

This is an embarassment!!! What a waste of a collaboration. Not only did they choose one of the most bland looking g-shocks on the market but it is as if they spent no time on actually changing the watch to make it special. They put their name on it and some lame camo. Why didn't they try to outdo themselves and do something more creative with the band color,  or put F.C Real Bristol where it says protection or slightly alter the super plane design of the watches body.  It wouldn't be so terrible if they collaborated on a watch worth buying in the first place but they took a bland watch and then made people not want to buy it even more.
