Nikon has just added another model to their compact and powerful Nikon 1 line with the introduction of the 14.2 megapixel S2. This interchangeable-lens camera offers a number of upgrades from its predecessors, including an increased ISO light sensitivity range up to 12,800 (for low-light shooting), without adding any more bulk to its overall lightweight body. Other enhancements include the ability to do rapid shot and then combine them with up to four other photos to reduce image noise, capture video, and even a fun Toy Camera mode that makes life-sized scenes look like toy miniatures. Along with the new camera, Nikon has introduced a new underwater housing with an amphibious flash. The S2 will be available in black, white, red and yellow bodies. In addition to the 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens package (priced at$450), the S2 will also be available with both the 11-27.5mm lens and 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 lenses (priced at $700).
