Japanese illustrator and artist, Hajime Sorayama, started his career before the advent of computers and internet, thus his work possesses a human feel and nostalgia. Sorayama prefers to depict robots and women, sometimes a combination of both, as his subject matter, bringing them to life utilizing his exceptional photo-realistic air brushing techniques. Stussy invited the acclaimed Japanese artist for their upcoming Guest Artist Series, which will hold a solo exhibition at the second floor of Stussy Harajuku Chapter in Japan. The exhibit will run from end of this month until mid June, so be sure to drop by if you are in Tokyo.
