In the early days of urban fashion, even before the term was coined, ex-graffiti writer Edwin “PHADE” Sacasa ran a popular retail shop called Shirt Kings in Jamaica Queens with his partners Rafael “KASHEME” Avery and Clyde “NIKE” Harewood. PHADE would airbrush illustrations directly onto garments, attracting customers who appreciated his art on cotton. Stussy pays tribute to PHADE in this latest Guest Artist Series, compiling four graphics for the collaboration project. Fans of ’80s and ’90s streetwear graphics would appreciate these throwback designs. The full range is currently available at Stussy Chapters and online shop.
