Thom Browne – Spring/Summer 2015 Collection | Runway Show

“Avant-garde” is probably the most elegant descriptor for Thom Browne‘s seasonal runway shows, and the American designer’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection, presented during Paris Fashion Week, followed in the theatrical footsteps of past presentations. Known for tailored menswear that plays off the regimented look of the archetypal man in the grey flannel suit, his runway shows are an opportunity for Browne to spread his creatively subversive wings. We’ve seen animals and evilly polished toy soldiers, and now we get suits with padding that suggests muscular human forms turned inside out, as well as knee-high socks and appliqued flowers and butterflies flipping traditional notions of masculinity on their head. See more of the spectacle below.
