California-based Saleen Automotive, which specialized in performance upgrades for Ford vehicles, just teased images of its 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang. Based on the 2015 Ford Mustang, which won’t be in dealership till November 2014, the new Saleen 302 Mustang features a new grille and front panel for a streamline appearance. Though no other details are available at this time on the powerplant, its likely based on Saleen’s current 302 Mustang line. Named after 1968 Ford 4.9-liter V8 engine with 302 cubic inches of displacement, the Saleen 302 Mustang line boats somewhere between a 440 horsepower naturally aspirated edition to a supercharger version capable of 625 horsepower. Sold directly through Saleen dealers worldwide, look for the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang to arrive early next year.
