Marketing and PR agencies are working overtime during the FIFA World Cup 2014 to capitalize on one of the biggest events this year. It was reported that even though Beats by Dr. Dre was not the official sponsor of the world event, there were plenty of players who were seen sporting the headphones leading up to their match. Aggressive marketing is nothing new for the giant headphone manufacturer, who proposed a triple-brand collaboration with Pigalle from France and Beastin from Germany. Both retailers were given the opportunity to create products to support their own country. Composed of t-shirts and matching Solo 2 headphones, the colors and symbols reflect the respective team. These are currently available exclusively from Pigalle and Beastin.
