In the trailer for “The Ride” — a new video series from Levi’s Commuter — a voice intones that a bike is more than just a method of transportation. “It’s freedom,” he says. “It’s a feeling that can’t be described.” Those are the words of Tyrone Stevenson, founder of the Scraper Bikes Movement in Oakland, California. He, along with poet James Massiah of London and designer Kyle Garner of Brooklyn, are the subjects of three short films from Levi’s Commuter. The far-flung trio embodies cycling culture, but more importantly, they do so with their own individual style. Check out the trailer below.
