Japan's SOPHNET. is the prism through which Hirofumi Kiyonaga conveys his vision for traditional menswear, and the brand's Fall/Winter 2014 video lookbook is the latest testament to the designer's post-prep sensibility. Shot with a shaky handheld camera with picture distortion reminiscent of lo-fi surveillance footage, the clip showcases cold weather essentials, including cable-knit sweaters, duffel coats and varsity jackets. The layered looks are finished in primary colors and cozy natural fabrics, with unlaced sneakers -- featuring what looks to be a future collaboration with Vans -- and untucked shirt hems resulting in a disheveled schoolboy aesthetic.
