This coming Sunday, July 20th, Nike will mark the 45th anniversary of the first ever lunar landing with its Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Moon”. Also known as the “Moon Landing” or “Lunar Landing”, this newest iteration of the classic Air Max 90 features a Hyperfuse upper adorned with a reflective photo of Sea of Tranquility, a region of the Moon where Apollo 11 astronauts Neil A. Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” E. Aldrin, Jr. landed on July 20th, 1969. Accompanied by a pair of Stars & Stripes heel plates, the Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Moon” will be available this Sunday at all NikeLab store locations around the globe. The highly sought after kicks will also be available through NikeLab online shop starting at 1 PM EDT that day.
