For Fall/Winter 2014, the adidas Originals Blue Collection is partly inspired by its musical roots, particularly the streetwear legacy of pioneering rap trio Run-DMC. Consequently, Run-DMC branding and New York’s iconic skyline define the prints for both men and women, finished in a basic color palette of red, white and black. Those elements are featured on various pieces, along with “Tougher Than Leather” slogans and an updated version of the original Run-DMC adidas badge. An second distinctive motif takes the form of a tiger camo print in night cargo and black, seen on both outerwear and pants. Look for the goods to launch in stores and online starting in August.
