On the heels of the brand’s video lookbook, Japan’s Uniform Experiment has unveiled a closer look at its Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Founders Hirofumi Kiyonaga of SOPHNET. and Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design have predicated their label on the modernization of traditional menswear through novel patterns and contemporary silhouettes, as well as a series of sartorial genre mashups: wool melton sleeves on a rider jacket, bonded pockets on a double-breasted pea coat, and working zippers on the back of pin-striped grey wool trousers. Tailored suiting is complemented with cozy wool sweaters, while old favorites like a fish-tail mod coat and studded leather sneakers return for another round. Check out the full Uniform Experiment Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook below, and expect the goods to make their way to UE retailers in the coming weeks.
