Clippers point guard Chris Paul was an active participant in the development of the eighth installment of his signature Jordan Brand shoe, featuring a sleek, minimalist aesthetic to go along with maximum performance, speed and responsiveness on the court. The Jordan CP3.VIII has a TPU chassis providing the kind of stability needed for Paul’s quick-paced game, and a unique 5/8-height built with an inner sleeve for a sock-life fit. A textile upper with synthetic overlays provide lightweight durability, while Nike Zoom units under the forefoot create responsive cushioning. Aside from the performance benefits, there are significant personal design notes, including a family tree detailed on the inside of the tongue, which complements the traditional chevron design that pays tribute to the patriarchs of the Paul family. The Jordan CP3.VIII is set to launch in two introductory colorways — black/infrared 23/white and cool grey/white/black — at global Jordan brand retailers starting November 1st.
