In honor of its 30th anniversary, Toyota is set to re-release the Land Cruiser 70, the rugged SUV beloved by off-road enthusiasts the world over. In the event you're not familiar with the model, that probably has something to do with the fact that the vehicle was never released in the U.S. And a bit of bad news: this re-release won't be making its way stateside either. It'll be available exclusively in Japan for one year, offered in both "van" and pick-up variations. Both will feature a 4.0-liter V6 good for 228 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, as well as a five-speed manual gearbox and part-time 4WD. Japanese customers can expect to shell out around 3.6 million yen (roughly $35,000 USD).
