We’ve seen the renderings, but now thanks to footage shot from a Go Pro-equipped drone, we get a glimpse into the construction in progress of Apple’s new campus. 43-year-old tech worker Jason McMinn was curious about the progress on the Cupertino-based site when he launched his drone on Aug. 24, and the subsequent 8-minute clip shows off the massive scale of the project. According to McMinn, his remotely controlled quadcopter remained under 400 feet, per Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and did not enter any airport no-fly zones. Moreover, airspace above 83 feet is public space, according to a 1946 U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
Apple’s Campus 2 is expected to be completed in 2016. Check out the video below.
