Ferrari pays tribute to the traditions of the Middle East with a new video, "Deserto Rosso" (Italian for "Red Desert") shot in the expanse of sandy dunes that surround the Liwa Oasis of Abu Dhabi. The minute-long clip was shot over the course of 24 hours and is made to showcase the beauty of the arid landscape, a natural setting for the Prancing Horse's unique California T model. Dual California Ts were filmed traversing the "Empty Quarter," known locally as the "Rub' al Khali," with power driving the hard-top convertibles coming from a twin-scroll turbo 3.9 litre V8, good for 560 hp and 755 Nm of torque. A new Handling Speciale (HS) package delivers a sportier suspension, a new exhaust system and a revised F1-Trac logic and Sport mode. Enjoy the video below, as well as an accompanying gallery of the Ferrari California T.
