Earlier this week Kanye West took to Twitter to preview a new footwear silhouette, the 1050. The duck boot-inspired design made it natural a successor to last year's Yeezy 950, though it was unclear whether the new model was similarly made by adidas. We've since learned that the provenance of the 1050 does indeed lie with the Three Stripes, and it's built with adidas' flagship Boost cushioning. Of course we'll have to take adidas' word for it, as the Boost technology is encapsulated within a bulky sole unit. Waterproof Gore-Tex protection adds to the functionality of the fashion-forward model.
