Jaguar has taken the wraps off the F-Type SVR, which is set to debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Under the hood is a supercharged 5.0 liter V8, generating 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It enables the coupe to hit 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds, ultimately achieving a top speed of 200 MPH. Performance is helped along in part by the shedding of extra weight: the SVR is 55 pounds lighter than the F-Type R, thanks to the new Inconel titanium exhaust, as well as optional carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon-fiber accents that saves 110 pounds. There's no manual gearbox option; instead, there's an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. The car rides on new 20-inch forged aluminum alloys, wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires, 265s in front and 305s in the back. Jaguar is taking preorders for the F-Type SVR starting today, with delivery expected in Summer 2016. Pricing starts at $125,950 for the SVR Coupe and $128,800 for the SVR Convertible.
