For this year's March into Merivale Food & Wine Festival in Sydney, Australia, celebrated chef Dan Hong indulged his sneaker obsession, transforming his Potts Point restaurant Ms. G's into Chopsticks and Dope Kicks. With the help of Sneaker Freaker and Sydney boutique Subtype, the Asian fusion restaurant was transformed for one night, featuring a menu entirely inspired by sneakers. Dishes were often inspired by individual sneaker colorways, as well as more indirect references, like canapés giving the nod to New Balance's dual American and UK manufacturing bases.
