You would think that by this point, nine albums in, Radiohead would have fully tapped into its supply of existential dread - that's clearly not the case. However, the release of their new album, A Moon Shaped Pool, and a new visualization of Nielsen Soundscan data by Nick DeSantis from Forbes magazine shows the band is changing from one with a collection of experimental singles to interlocked albums. While, to-date, Radiohead has sold 12.3 million digital albums and 756,000 singles, this change to an album-based band didn't go unnoticed by fans, with a rapidly shrinking gap between those on the hunt for one-off singles and die-hard Radiohead fans, who have actually remained quite consistent. See it the data for yourself below and let us know what you think of the trends.
