For its newest collaboration, Vault by Vans has joined forces with the underground artist Robert Williams, bring his psychedelic creations to life through a limited edition capsule encompassing classic footwear, apparel an unexpected third component: a Fender Stratocaster Guitar. Robert Williams' groundbreaking 1979 book, The Lowbrow Art of Robert Williams, introduced the term "lowbrow" into art world lexicon, while also promulgating the notion of "outlaw culture" into the fine art space. Three of William's paintings -- "Flaming Cobras," "Malfeasance" and "Jalapeña" -- are rendered on the Sk8-Hi 38 Decon LX, Authentic 44 Reissue LX and Slip-On 98 Reissue LA, respectively. They're joined by three graphic tees and a Fender Stratocaster Guitar, finished with Robert Williams' "Jalapeña" printed in a full graphic print wrap around the body and guitar case. The goods launch July 23rd at select Vault by Vans retailers.
