Last week, NikeLab opened its newest store, located in a former bank in northern Milan. Certain vestiges of the physical space were kept intact, including a coffered ceiling and basement vaults below, which will eventually be used to display product. New fixtures come courtesy of Martino Gamper, whose previous work for Nike was featured at "The Nature of Motion" exhibition during Milan Design Week earlier in the year. Gamper created modular seating known as the anti-chair, and he also repurposed old sneakers to create fittings used throughout the store. As for product, customers can expect NikeLab's current lineup of footwear and apparel, including designer collaborations like the Nike Windrunner redux by Stone Island.
