While J Dilla was signed to MCA in the early 2000s, he turned in a demo of an album titled The Middle Finger on CD-R. It would become lost when MCA ceased operations in 2003, and it has since been recovered and will finally be released to the public for the first time. Because the original CD-R was damaged, the release will feature just two tracks, Kanye West's mix of "The Anthem" and an album version of "Fuck the Police" featuring an alternate vocal track. The mix will drop through a limited run of just 1,000 hand-numbered 12-inch pressings, with pre-orders available now at rappcats.com
