Y-3 has always projected a dark and futuristic sensibility, so it's no surprise that the brand's Spring/Summer 2017 campaign video has the look and feel of a dystopian sci-fi flick. Directed by Robert Broadhurst with creative direction by Blackrose NYC, the short film sets up themes of status, power and authority, with the nameless protagonists defying the all-seeing eye of an authoritarian regime. Underpinning the notion of a future society with distinct hierarchies, there's also a hopeful message of movement, utilitarian function and creativity. Check out the video below.
