As part of its Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Stone Island debuts an exclusive "Hand Corrosion" capsule, featuring knits, bottoms and outerwear dyed with "special recipes" and subsequently faded by hand with a corrosive paste. It's an artisan process that ultimately makes each garment unique and one-of-a-kind, and even the signature Stone Island badge bears the same corrosion marks, as it's attached to the pieces during the manual fading procedure. Standout pieces include a Field Jacket made in a military-derived cotton satin, along with a cotton crewneck sweater in a brioche stitch knit, both featuring residual dyes on the surface to highlight the architecture of the garments.
