Hellz Bellz did it again, their Fall 2009 Delivery 2 collection ‘Midnight Riders’, photographed by Brooke Nipar, is one of their strongest collection to date. By utilizing dark themes found in the iconic 80′s flick ‘Mad Max’, ‘Midnight Riders’ aims to represent the ideology of the subversive in not only fact and fiction, but fashion as well.

For Married to the MOB‘s 5th year anniversary celebration they are releasing a Panty Drop Pack with Karmaloop which includes 5 pairs of boy short style panties available in pink, purple, black, white and orange. On the front of the panties is the new MOB logo and in the back is classic MTTM sayings, keep a look out for these on karmaloop.com soon.

For fall 2009 delivery 1, Hellz presents the ‘Style Warriors’, photographed by Brooke Nipar, is a line of clothing designed to celebrate women who escape the mundane and predictable in every facet of their lives. Drawing upon cross-cultural sophistication, and a diverse, Aztec-inspired color story, ‘Style Warriors’ truly embodies the aspirations of iconoclast women.
Colors present throughout the collection include navy, red, elephant grey and black and each garment’s fabrication is of the highest fidelity. Traditional garments, such as the hoodie, have been given the Hellz treatment; they have been transformed into amazing fashion-forward pieces. Unique new silhouettes can be found in the delivery as well, such as the ‘Defensive,’ a woven button up which features cotton plaid with ruffle details in the front and a clever slit on its back. The ‘Style Warriors’ denim program also features a highly stylized jean, called the ‘Taxi,’ which comes in black and indigo vintage washes and features functional padding for added comfort during colder weather.
Look out for the collection at stockists including Karmaloop, Revolve Clothing and 80’s Purple very soon!

Married to the MOB has tapped 18-year-old rapper/singer Teyana Taylor (best known as Pharrell’s protege), to be the face of their fall 2009 “Smells Like Teen Spirit” collection shot by Brooke Nipar at ACE Hotel. MOB’s fall 1 delivery consists of an array of tees, hoodies, denim, dresses and outwear inspired from the experiences that the Most Official Bitches crew went through growing up as youths in New York City. They wanted to epitomize the unstoppable feeling of being a teenager in the five boroughs- waking up early, taking the crowded subway to school, or may be not going to class at all, waiting for fights to break out in the lunch room, defending yourself, your crew, or your neighborhood, and of course praying that your extremely fake ID will work at the club.
The fall 1 delivery is slated to drop next week just in time for back to school so keep your eyes peeled on www.mttmnyc.com and Alife stores to cop the gear.

Married to the MOB has just upgraded their signature ‘puckered kiss’ logo which has been the brand’s logo since their start in 2004 with a new logo. MTTM’s creator, Leah McSweeney says she wanted a change because “we’re no longer just t-shirts and hoodies, the line is expanding and growing up, we wanted a new logo to emphasize that change”. The new logo coincides with the growth and new direction of the clothes, it is sleek and more versatile. They also dropped some additional summer tees featuring their new logo.
Sometimes your pout needs a fresh coat or new shade of lipstick, and MTTM is only looking to make their lips even more kissable. ~ MTTM

Last Thursday, BBC/Ice Cream held a press preview at their showroom for the latest Fall/Winter 2009-10 collection and Pharrell was there showing the collection. The collection keeps true to their style, extraordinary and loud. The collection releases starting in July through December and will be available at BBC stores and online at bbcicecream.com.

Adam Lippes designed two capsule collections for Spanish retailer Mango, one for women and one for men consisting of around 20 designs. The collection consists of outerwear, t-shirts, trousers, dresses, skirts, tops and shorts with a contemporary air combined with a 70s touch. For women the range consists of daywear and flowing dresses for special occasions featuring prints and an irregular hand-made finish, degraded stripes with sequins and enclosing sack forms. For men a classic New York look made up of versatile pieces with a mixture of classic and casual elements predominated by fabrics with a timeless air and clean-cut tight forms, with a particular interest in details on linen, cotton and fine wool fabrics. The basic colors are blues and greys with touches of deep yello, stone and purple. The collections go on sale worldwide at Mango on March 1st.
