Supreme, not unlike the artists and creatives they champion, is a vital part of the downtown culture in New York City. That being said it is not too surprising that they have worked with various NYC based artists on the Supreme clothing or skate lines and are continuing this tradition with the Supreme x Marilyn Minter skate deck. Minter has been formally “on the scene” for nearly two decades and features prominently in the milieu of American modern art. There are three decks, each with an image typical of Minter’s work: close-ups of the erotic nature that confuse and astound the viewer.
