Air Jordan (60+) Sixty Plus   Fall 2009 Preview

The newest hybrid sneaker to be released this Fall 2009 Season is the Sixty Plus that combines the four different shoes that MJ wore when he scored 60 or more points. The four shoes include the I, II, V, and VII. The first two colorways of this shoe that are set to drop in the upcoming months are a Black, White, and Varsity Red pair as well as a White, Del Sol, and Varsity Royal pair. The Black pair will drop first on August 15th, 2009 while the White pair will follow on September 19th, 2009. The suggested retail price of the Sixty Plus is $150. via: Jordan

Air Jordan VII (7) Retro   (60+) Sixty Plus Pack

Jordan Brand will release two VII Retro’s in a Pack called the 60+ Pack that honors MJ’s memorable 64 point performance against the Orlando Magic on January 16th, 1993. The pack consists of one Chicago Bulls colorway of the VII and an Orlando Magic colorway. The box that the pack will come in resembles the Bulls’ home court. Both Jordan VII’s are similar to the two Retro’s that were released a few years ago, the Bulls colorway resembling the “Raptors” VII and the Magic VII which looks like the “French Blue” VII. Look for these to be released on August 22nd, 2009 with a retail price of $310. via: Jordan

G.O.O.D. Music’s newest signee, Mr. Hudson, has just released a video for his single, Supernova, which features . The two artists have formed a great working relationship it seems as Mr. Hudson was featured on a couple songs off of Kanye’s latest album, 808′s and Heartbreak, in addition Mr. Hudson will also be featured on the new Jay-Z album, The Blueprint 3. Mr. Hudson will release his own album, Straight No Chaser, on October 5th, 2009.

The newest artist signed to Young Money, , has finally released the video for his hit single “Best I Ever Had”. The song featured on Drake’s mixtape, So Far Gone, has gone on to become one of the biggest records in the country. Drake shot the video a few weeks ago with the help of , who makes his music directorial debut. The I has become a staple amongst sneakerheads and Jordan Brand seems to have recognized this, their Fall 2009 I Collection will include the release of various I’s including the I Retro Hight, I Retro High Strap, I Retro Hi, and 1 Phat Low. The most interesting AJI’s of the Fall 2009 Collection from Jordan Brand is the I High 60+ Pack that features two AJI’s, one that is nearly identical to the pair that MJ wore when he torched the Celtics for 63 points in 1986 and the other pair inspired by the team that he scored all of those points against, the Boston Celtics. via: Jordan

Kanye West x Takashi Murakami   Gold Aluminum Bear Sculpture

and Japanese artist, , recently got together to collaborate on this Gold aluminum bear sculpture. This is the same bear that Murakami drew for Kanye’s Graduation album. This gold sculpture was recently previewed by Emmanuel Perrotin. Paris’ La MJC was lucky enough to receive the entire set of the and collaboration sneaker collection and put together a cohesive lookbook showcasing the different shoes in the collection. The three different styles include The Don, The Jasper, and The Mr Hudson; all three named after close friend’s of Kanye West. Brand Jordan will be releasing new colorway of their best hybrid sneaker to date, the Spiz’ike. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Spiz’ike pieces together all of the signature shoes that Spike Lee (Mars Blackmon) helped promote via: his “Is it the Shoes?” commercials that featured both Michael Jordan and Spike Lee as Mars Blackmon. Here is a nice, classic Jordan colorway of the Spiz’ike in Black, Varsity Red, and Cement which features hints of the Jordan Elephant print as well as the Cement print. Nike  Air Footscape   Available Now @ HUF

The Nike Air Footscape after a few Tier Zero releases is finally more readily available in two dope colorways, the Grand Purple colorway we’ve already shown you last week. The new colorway seen here is the Black and Blue Sapphire colorway which is a dope wearable colorway that will definitely move quickly at the various Nike Sportswear retailers that will have it for sale. Nike  Terminator Hi   Matte Silver   Black

A new Nike Terminator Hi has been released in a Matte Silver and Black colorway that also features some hints of Blue. What’s interesting about this Terminator is the material used on it, the inspiration having come from Nike’s Pinnacle Apparel Collection. The shoe’s upper features a soft cotton material in Matte Silver while the shoe is pieced together with what looks like bonded seams, the same ones that can be found on various pieces from Nike’s Pinnacle Apparel Collection. These dope Terminator Hi’s are available now at select retailers including Proper.
