Rick Ross along with the rest of the Maybach Music Group roster including Wale, Meek Mill, Pill, Stalley, and more were at HK Lounge in New York City last Wednesday for the listening party of the debut Maybach Music Group album entitled, Self Made Vol. 1, which will now be released on May 23rd via Ross’ new venture with Warner Bros. The compilation album will feature appearances from every member of the group as well as Jadakiss, French Montana, J. Cole, and others. Brand Jordan will be releasing a new colorway of it’s 6-17-23 hybrid Air Jordan sneaker in a signature Jordan colorwary of Black, Varsity Red, and Cement next month. The Jordan 6-17-23 was originally introduced via a classic Jordan “Carmine” colorway back in January which was proceeded by the “Aqua” colorway that we saw Kemba Walker wear all the way to a NCAA National Championship and now Jordan Brand will be releasing this Black and Cement colorway just in time for the hot Summer months. Nike Sportswear introduced the world to the Lunar Orbit in Spring 2011 and now the shoe gets an updated color palette for it’s second release as a part of the larger Nike Sportswear Summer 2011 Collection. The Lunar Orbit features a Lunar midsole, hence the ‘Lunar’ in the shoe’s name, for additional comfort and the ability to sync your run or walk with Nike+ should you chose to do so. Other notable features of the Lunar Orbit are the offset zip enclosure, lasered sockliner, and a 3-layer mesh upper for added breathability. After various pictures were leaked the Air Jordan 2.0 will finally make it’s debut this Summer on Saturday, June 4th at select Jordan Brand retailers across the US. The Air Jordan 2.0 features a classic signature Air Jordan II upper placed on a brand new full legnth Air Max midsole which provides both extra comfort and a smoother ride. The first colorway of the Air Jordan 2.0 to be released is this White, Black, and Varsity Red colorway that features Varsity Red being colored in the Air bubble. Nike Sportswear introduced the Air BW Gen II to us last year as a part of their Spring 2010 Collection and since the sneaker’s initial release we’ve yearned to see new colorways of the hybrid shoe that fuses the original Nike Air BW (Big Window) with new Nike technology including Torch, a technology that Nike Sportswear created that uses three layers of material to create the structure of the shoe all while making it more breathable and comfortable. This new colorway of the BW Gen II draws some inspiration from the original colorway released as hints of Varsity Purple are accented against a Medium Grey upper.
