With the 50th running of 24 Hours at Daytona less than a day away, timepiece maker TSOVET honors one of the most successful American racing team, Chip Ganassi Racing, with the TSOVET SVT-GR44 Automatic Chronograph. Machined out of aerospace-grade 316L stainless steel, the 44mm gun metal encasement housed the Valjoux 7750 mechanical calibre movement with 42 hours of power reserve. Application of sapphire crystal in front and back ensures obstruction-free visibility to time and functions. And the watch’s unique screw-down crowns, in matte gun metal, as well as Chip Ganassi Racing team colorway, makes it all the more eye-catching. Celebrating Chip Ganassi Racing’s 145 wins, including 14 championships, from 1994 to 2011, each of the TSOVET SVT-GR44 Automatic Chronograph comes with a commemorative book and packaging. Each watch will also be individually numbered from 01 to 51. Set for a May 2012 delivery date, the timepiece is currently available for pre-order via TSOVET online store.

Previous collaboration projects between Maiden Noir and PORTER proved to be a success, so the winning partnership is back again for the Spring/Summer 2012 season. In this collaboration, there are four key pieces created in black, red and green tones. Amongst the three Day Pack Hiker backpacks, there is an inclusion of a woodland camouflage fabric but the rest of the bags are made from solid colors. All of the accessories – wallet, coin case and key chain – are unified in black leather body with dark green panels and gold accents. Expect these to drop around early February at Maiden Noir dealers across the world. via: houyhnhnm
The corduroy fabric is a winter favorite with its ability to retain warmth and New Era is capitalizing on it for their latest Corduroy Tiger Stripe Pack. Three cap styles – 59FIFTY, WM-03 and WM-04 – make up the pack and each style comes in two colorways. A New York Yankees logo is embroidered on the front of the 59FIFTY cap with MLB logo placed on the back. Both the WM-03 and WM-04 models are very similar, except the shorter visor on the WM-04. On the back of the caps, they have upgraded the adjustable straps with suede material and metal buckles. All of these caps can be ordered through CAP COLLECTOR ONE in Japan, who is able to ship overseas without any problems.

Super introduces revamped styles of the America and Paloma models as part of the brand’s Visiva series. Both are releasing under the Poissons banner, with each featuring handcrafted prints throughout the interior. They depict vintage illustrations of marine wildlife by Louis Renard that date back to the 1700s, providing each frame a uniquely decorative aesthetic. Both are built with durable acetate, with the square-framed America featuring a dark Havana colorway with tobacco lens, while the rounder Paloma is finished with amber crystal and also features tobacco lens. Both styles come with special matching packaging and are in stock now at Super’s online store.

Japan’s SOPHNET. presents its video lookbook for Spring/Summer 2012, in which Hirofumi Kiyonaga compiles a series of looks highlighting the details as the primary attraction. They’re seen in the button-down oxfords with alternating colors and designs, as well as the complementary patterned scarves and distressed patchwork denim. The bright color palette is fitting for spring, and syncs perfectly with the lightweight madras and cotton fabrics. An undeniable schoolboy aesthetic tempers an otherwise sophisticated collection, injecting a bit of welcome irreverence to the trad styling. Check out the video following the click.

First seen during PROJECT New York trade show last week, the Diver-1 watch from MSTR (aka Meister) incorporates many of the much sought after characteristics on men’s timepiece today. Its 50mm casing in stainless steel makes an immediate and bold statement of style at first glance. A closer look unveils a layering of dial face that gives a sense of depth to its design. Powered by Ronda quartz movement and a date indicator, the watch, also known as MSTR D1, is the company’s first timepiece that utilized all Swiss made components. In all black, titanium-color case with silver dial, and silver case with black dial, the MSTR Diver-1 is currently available on MSTR’s online store.

How is it that it’s 2012 and The Hundreds has never gotten together with Casio on a G-Shock release? OK that isn’t entirely true, the California based brand did team up with them and XLARGE back in 2008, but this is the first time they’re doing it without a third entity involved. The impending model of choice is the GW-5610, which aims for a very clean black and white base along with some logo hits around the wristband. Opting out of the yellow and orange parts from their Adam Bomb logo, the smart look is something more reminiscent of elegant aura that their retail spots have been built around. Follow us after the jump for an extra shot and stick with Freshness for word on a release date for The Hundreds x Casio G-Shock GW-5610. via Provider

Each year Ray-Ban releases a specially designed Rare Prints Wayfarer collection featuring graphics by various talented artists and designers. This year an independent design studio, La Boca, was selected to take on the task of coming up with the graphics for the iconic sunglasses. As La Boca specializes in designs that reference 80′s retro styles, the four versions are inspired by the color combination from that era. All of these frames are currently available at Ray-Ban stockists around the world and on the Ray-Ban online shop. Check out more detailed photos after the jump.

New York based filmmaker Casey Neistat was one of the few lucky who received an invite for last week’s Nike+ FuelBand launch event in New York City. Casey shot video throughout the six-hour event and condensed the footage into three short minutes, starting with a brief look at Jimmy Fallon’s introductory monologue and even briefer appearances by Nike CEO Mark Parker, as well as superstar athletes Lance Armstrong, Kevin Durant and Carmelita Jeter. Casey is outfitted with his own FuelBand with assistance from a Nike+ tech, then it’s off to the Brooklyn Barbell Club to put the device through its paces, followed by a rigorous regimen of pizza making. (Sure, it counts.) Check out the video following the click.

Nixon presents the new “Oxyde” collection for Spring 2012, which carries a rustic, oxidized design throughout the set giving each piece a unique and vintage look reminiscent of decades past. The collection includes five watches — the Sentry, Time Teller, Corporal, Private, and Mellor — as well as a wallet, credit or business card holder, two belts, and an iPad case, all constructed of premium Horween leather with bespoke character and earthy tones. Each of the watches’ faces have been oxidized and plated to create a rusted look unique to each piece accented by brushed steel bezels and dark leather straps. The two belts have the same leather and brushed steel construction while the wallet and iPad case feature stitched leather with black button snaps keeping them secure. The Oxyde collection is available now at Nixon dealers worldwide, including TANGS and Billabong stores.

Following up to the gardening themed Spring/Summer 2012 collection, Junya Watanabe takes inspiration from the workers and laborers from the by gone era for the Fall/Winter 2012 collection of Junya Watanabe COMME des GARÇONS MAN. In similar fashion as the current season, the pieces are made using wool, cotton, denim, leather and flannel fabrics. An earthy color palette evoke nostalgia, while dash of primary colors revert the collection from looking too plain. All looks are complemented by a wide range of head wear and footwear, working together to construct the contemporary worker style.
