Sure, we can delineate the core principles of function, style, quality and innovation that make up the Lexdray mission statement, but it’s even more elemental than that: the brand represents the vision of one man, Alex Drayer, who’s the founder, designer and creative director of the company. A frequent traveler, Alex surveyed his personal collection of luggage and bags and found them wanting, so he took bits and pieces of what he did like from the gear he used and started Lexdray. He’s since teamed up with the Wendel production company to present video overviews of pieces from Lexdray’s Classified Collection, the latest featuring the Aspen Soft Case. The water resistant accessories pouch is lined with soft micro-fleece and can store any variety of valuables, from glasses to an expensive timepiece. Learn more about it by viewing the video after the click, then head over to Lexdray’s online store to buy.

The best way for a customer to appraise a product is to pick it up and handle it with his or her own hands. Previously, the next best thing was photographic images of the piece. It’s a concept that’s rendered a little lower in the pecking order compared to what Lexdray has done in teaming up with Los Angeles based production company Wendel. Their brief to-the-point videos explore and highlight the features of each bag in Lexdray’s Classified Collection. This one for the Stockholm Brief shows off the model’s fleece-lined laptop pocket, military grade hardware, proprietary snap pocket system and a host of other premium features. Check it out after the click, then find the Stockhom Brief at Lexray’s online store when you’re ready to purchase.

While he is very much a fictional character, James Bond, her majesty’s trusted secret agent, is never the less a brand ambassador for OMEGA. In honor of Bond’s first film appearance in Dr. No (1962) 50 years ago, the luxury timepiece maker designed a special OMEGA Seamaster Professional for the occasion. In sizes 41mm (for men) and 36mm (for women), the James Bond 007 50th Anniversary Watch is a reinterpretation of the classic OMEGA Seamaster diver’s watch. Special alterations include repetitive 007 monograms engraved on the lacquered black dial and the red “50″ dive marker on its ceramic bezel, James Bond 007 50th Anniversary Seamaster also features a case back in the form of a gun barrel, a reference to Bond’s signature Walther PPK pistol. At the center, a small sapphire crystal encased a bullet-like decor with the imprints “James Bond 50 Years”. For a touch femininity, the 36mm version will include a diamond stud as the 7 o’clock marker. Limited to 11,007 units for the 41mm model and 3,007 units for the 36mm model, both will be available soon at OMEGA dealers worldwide. Meanwhile, you can catch James Bond in action this winter on latest film installment, Skyfall.

“Extreme” is one way to describe just how much protection your iPad 2 will get from the new G-Form iPad Extreme Sleeve 2. Looking like something NASA would wrap around a spacecraft reentering our atmosphere, the G-Form wraps your gadget in a PORON foamy embrace about an inch thick, keeping it safe from the dangers and airport security agents of the world. But, to prove just how safe your iPad 2 will be, G-Form has conducted a few tests to show that even extreme impacts to the case will keep your iPad safe and sound. And, G-Form really means extreme here; they’ve dropped it from an airplane 500 feet in the air and dropped a 12 pound bowling ball on it, and both times everything inside remained in working order. You can pick up the G-Form online in either a yellow or black/black colorway. via: hayabusa.bz

Titled Rum & Sugar, the latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection from Deluxe is ready to hit retailers very soon. Inspired by old American films, the collection seeks to reflect the clothing one would wear on a summer vacation in a tropical climate. As indicated in their lookbook, the collection includes outerwear, tops, shirts, pants and shorts, along with several articles of headwear made by New Era. The overall aesthetic of the garments has not changed dramatically, yet these pieces are much more casual than the company’s usual military- and work-influenced styles. Take a preview of the whole collection after the jump.

Coinciding with the launch of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, LUKER By NEIGHBORHOOD is partnering up with their old friends at Bounty Hunter. It goes without saying that with these two brands teaming up, the result is nothing short of bold. The capsule collection consists of three graphic t-shirts and a trucker cap in several colorways. Skull-infused Bounty Hunter graphics are screened onto the front of the LUKER By NEIGHBORHOOD garments in monotone. On the back of the t-shirts, the iconic Bounty Hunter logo is printed on the bottom as well. All of the pieces are currently in stock at LUKER By NEIGHBORHOOD dealers across the globe.

As part of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, Stussy is offering this US/CA Big Backpack as one of their first delivery items. Durable nylon material is used on the exterior in this revamp of the classic backpack design. One extra compartment was added onto the top half of the bag, providing more storage space. Two long straps are fitted, wrapping around from the bottom to the front, allowing sleeping bags and other large items to be secured with ease. Black, light green, sky blue, brown and camouflage may not be a conventional color combination, but surprisingly they work very well together, creating an unique aesthetic. These bags should be in stock at all Stussy retailers, or you can head over to Kinetics in Tokyo.

If you’ve been looking for a stand as sleek and compact as the Apple iPad itself, let me introduce you to the Magnus iPad 2 Stand designed by Ten One Design. Using the same internal magnets built into the Apple iPad 2, the Magnus secures your device in place as if your tablet is standing by itself, but still leaving open access to all the ports, controls, and camera using its small white aluminum base. The Magnus is only capable of propping up your iPad when its laid on its side, but what you gain in peace of mind, sleek design, and even an additional free hand is well worth this drawback. Take additional looks at the Magnus in action after the jump; it’s available now at Ten One Design’s online store.

As intangible as the concept of time, it certainly has not stop watchmaker from creating a physical facsimile of the notion. One such is the H1 from HYT. Though a newcomer in the competitive high-end watch market, the CEO of HYT (short for Hydro Mechanical Horologists) is the experienced horologist Vincent Perriard, who once headed Concord and the creation of Concord C1 Quantum Gravity, another technical advanced timepiece.
Housed in either a titanium, DLC-coated titanium, or rose gold enclosure, the H1 features two distinctive portions – a manual-wind mechanical movement made on 35 jewels with 65-hour of power reserve. But the most unique and fun aspect of the H1 must be its “hydro” system, a liquid filled ring on the dial face which tells the hour. Driven by 2 hydraulic pistons on the lower portion of the watch, 2 liquids circulate in the ring in intervals – the florescent alcohol-base fluid stipulate the hours while it is counteracts by a clear oil-base fluid. Because of this creative time-telling schematic, the HYT H1 can also be consider as the world’s first hydro mechanical watch. Currently priced at $45,000 US for the titanium variant, the HYT H1 will officially debut at Switzerland’s BASELWORLD in March.
