Nike Sportswear Track & Field Collection Apparel

While unintended, the passing of Geoff Hollister has certainly made the Nike Sportswear Track & Field Collection all the more special. Inspired by ’s early years, its origin as a runner’s brand, and the all-important Athletic West program, of which Hollister developed, the collection re-imagines authenticity and heritage with contemporary construct.  Made with super soft cotton, each pre-treated to obtain a vintage appearance and feel. Yet never stray too far from its root as performance wear, some the design is thoroughly up-to-date, such as the Reflective Windrunner.  Other minute details, like the crackle graphic print, wouldn’t have been possible without the state-of-the-art “antiqued” method.  As a whole, you will find the collection to be both a celebration of past achievements and commemoration of things to come.  The Nike Sportswear Track & Field Collection is now available at Nike Sportswear retail locations, such as flagship store in New York City.

Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Harrison Mountain Parka

Bedwin & The Heartbreakers are reverting back to the tried-and-tested, classic fabric for their Harrison Mountain Parka. Since around the 1960′s, the 60/40 cloth–blending 60% cotton and 40% nylon materials–was a common technical fabric in the outdoor industry, when high-performance synthetic materials had not been developed yet. Furthermore, the jacket is cut to a slimmer pattern, which gives it a neo-outdoor style. There is a small pocket allocated on the left sleeve, perfect for storing electronic gadgets. The parka comes in three colorways–white, red, and black–and is available at Bedwin & The Heartbreakers dealers world wide. via: Intention

White Mountaineering Seam Taping Yarn Dyed Check Mix Western Shirt

Basing their design on traditional Western shirts, White Mountaineering added their twist to the classic silhouette. This new Western is constructed from three different check fabrics, which are evenly distributed on the various panels to make up the shirt. Instead of using ordinary plastic buttons, they have opted to use original snap buttons that are usually seen on their technical outerwear, giving the piece a modern aesthetic. On the inside, all of the seams are taped using branded taping – normally used on their technical outerwear as well – which provides additional durability. This shirt can be found at White Mountaineering stockists around the world or at FIGURE SHIZUOKA in Japan.

From the outside, this tailored jacket from UNDERCOVERISM does not look too different from most jackets created by the cult brand. Jun Takahashi designed many of the pieces in this season’s collection to feature the ready-made layered style. Bedwin & The Heartbreakers Jerry Award Jacket

Every season Bedwin & The Heartbreakers launch the Jerry Award Jacket in different versions, making it a key piece that fans look forward to seeing. For the Spring 2012 season, the basic jacket has been made using a lightweight, cotton jersey fabric. Its silhouette has not changed dramatically– however, this lighter body allows it to be worn much more casually. Two colorways–Gray and Black–were produced, with each item detailed by a BH patch on the left chest. The monotone, knitted ribbing on the collar, cuffs and waist complements the minimalist style of the jackets. via: Intention
