Mid-Century MODERN is a boutique store focusing on design products and furniture made around the mid-20th century era. Apart from their retailing business, they actively produce their original items as well. One of the fans of the store happen to be Daisuke Obana of N.HOOLYWOOD, thus this collaboration project was born. These two pieces are from the Under Summit Wear line, which is the basic product range from N.HOOLYWOOD. Accenting the simple aesthetic is the multicolored Ribbons fabric by Herman Miller, designed by textile designer Alexander Girard. Both of these shirts are currently in stock at Mid-Century MODERN online shop and retail store. via: EYESCREAM

Reebok is continuing the partnership with Jean-Michel Basquiat, unveiling the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Just as the previous seasons, the majority of the current season is made up of Reebok‘s iconic sneakers, yet some new apparel pieces are introduced to broaden the collection. Footwear range consists of Omni Pump Lite, Freestyle and Top Down, while the apparel line includes outerwear, cardigans and t-shirts. As one would expect, each piece is decorated by the famous drawings and handwriting by Basquiat. Precise dates of the release is yet to be confirmed but select Reebok accounts should be receiving these items sometime this month. via: PROVIDER

Unlike the previous season, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection from HUMAN MADE is not restricted by any particular theme. Although the collection still take huge influence from vintage clothing made in the 30′s and 40′s. As founder and designer NIGO explains, some of these pieces took over a year to develop and produce due to the attention paid to every little detail. However, it does not mean that all of these pieces are simply copies of vintage items, rather these clothing take the best aspects of NIGO‘s favorite vintage clothing. Furthermore, NIGO has taken into account the feedback he had received from consumers by keeping graphics to the minimum. Take a preview of the collection after the jump.

While unintended, the passing of Geoff Hollister has certainly made the Nike Sportswear Track & Field Collection all the more special. Inspired by Nike’s early years, its origin as a runner’s brand, and the all-important Athletic West program, of which Hollister developed, the collection re-imagines authenticity and heritage with contemporary construct. Made with super soft cotton, each pre-treated to obtain a vintage appearance and feel. Yet never stray too far from its root as performance wear, some the design is thoroughly up-to-date, such as the Nike Reflective Windrunner. Other minute details, like the crackle graphic print, wouldn’t have been possible without the state-of-the-art “antiqued” method. As a whole, you will find the collection to be both a celebration of past achievements and commemoration of things to come. The Nike Sportswear Track & Field Collection is now available at Nike Sportswear retail locations, such as 21 Mercer flagship store in New York City.

Every season Bedwin & The Heartbreakers launch the Jerry Award Jacket in different versions, making it a key piece that fans look forward to seeing. For the Spring 2012 season, the basic jacket has been made using a lightweight, cotton jersey fabric. Its silhouette has not changed dramatically– however, this lighter body allows it to be worn much more casually. Two colorways–Gray and Black–were produced, with each item detailed by a BH patch on the left chest. The monotone, knitted ribbing on the collar, cuffs and waist complements the minimalist style of the jackets. via: Intention

At the start of the year, we saw OriginalFake and fragment design team up to release the Girl Circle Pink T-Shirt. Here is the second installment from the Tokyo-based brands, and this time they have taken another piece of artwork from KAWS for their t-shirt graphic. The Girl Bending T-Shirt takes a similar route in terms of design, with the monochromatic artwork on the front and the fragment design lightning logo printed over it in blue. There will be limited quantities produced, and it will be sold exclusively at the OriginalFake store in Tokyo. The launch of the t-shirts will take place this Saturday, February 11th.
