Have you ever wanted to take a quick spin to your friend’s house or go out to the park on your bicycle but didn’t want to carry a backpack or a messenger bag? Well, the Brooklyn based SSCY have come up with a product that might be able to solve your problem. The Bandolier Bag is larger than a waist bag or your pockets, yet more compact than backpacks or messenger bags. In essence, these are two small pouches joined by a single shoulder strap. It is big enough to fit some electronic gadgets, wallets, tools and some snacks.
Also there are two straps fitted to the exterior of the pouches, which can hold a newspaper, skateboard, tripod or anything a little bulky to fit inside. To top it off, the pouches are made from water resistant poly duck material with vinyl backing for safeguarding the contents from rain. This Navy version is exclusively made for Chari & Co. in New York and these can be purchased at their retail store and online shop.

Independent media conglomerate Frank’s Chop Shop has gotten together with Gold Wheels, purveyor of fine skateboard wheels and streetwear, on a New Era 9FIFTY snapback cap. The hat is constructed with black wool and is adorned on the front with a single embroidered gold G, plus Gold Wheels logo at the back. Frank’s Chop Shop’s signature Ben Franklin iconography is also on display, in the form of the man’s likeness on the side panel, as well as a quote from the Founding Father inscribed underneath the bill that’s worth its weight in gold. The limited edition triple-branded snapback is in stock now at Japan’s Amazingstore.

If there was an ideal term for a general description, it would be rambunctious celebration. Again with a stroke of ostentation and bombast, Jeremy Scott continues his partnership with adidas Originals for Spring/Summer 2012. Unlike some of his past collections, there is actually a cohesiveness to the design theme for this upcoming collection. Cue in on the growing interest on Americana, Scott elaborated on American cultural icons with his signature abandonment of popular perceptions. Who said a cowboy can’t wear a pair of sneakers if he wants to? How about a sequin football jersey for Super Bowl weekend? Or a strait jacket in the colors of Stars and Strips? Rules of political correctness need not apply, outrageous mixed with a dosage of fun dictate each items, from the JS MEGA Softcell Cowboy Boots, the Fringed Track Jacket, to the nearly infamous American Flag Strait Jacket. Nothing is off limits. Then again, isn’t that the reason why fashion is fun?
The adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott Collection for Spring/Summer 2012 is available now with more additions to come in the following weeks.

The next shop selected by Reebok to take part in their Workout 25th Anniversary collection series is Sneakers76, which is based in the city of Taranto in southern Italy, where “time passes slowly.” Sneakers76′s attention to detail resulted in a choice white pieno fiore leather for the upper, organic cotton for the laces, and the best natural rubber they could find for the off-white sole. Keeping with their pursuit for timeless style, these Italian sneakerheads chose a wood textured heel panel and touches of gold for the inner lining. This collaboration between Sneakers76 and Reebok will release along with the other retail collaborations in the lineup, which is set for February 15th, 2012. via: HS

San Francisco-based illustrator Matt Furie‘s work hovers somewhere between reality and fantasy, depicting ordinary characters in less than ordinary situations. MEDICOM TOY must have been impressed with his colorful drawings, as they have invited Furie to collaborate on their latest FABRICK collection, entitled From Beyond. Eyeballs, hotdogs, worms, aliens, mouths, pizzas and many more everyday objects are illustrated as a custom all-over print pattern on a cotton fabric. This collection consists of tote bags, backpacks, waist bags, pouches, slippers and square cushions, with each item brought to life by Furie’s artwork. Unfortunately, these products will be released around May–however, pre-orders can be made on the MEDICOM TOY online store in ZOZOTOWN.

Release Date: March 2012

This Windshell Jacket marks the third collaboration project between Tokyo-based atmos and outdoor company Marmot from Colorado. Even though Marmot makes technical wear for extreme conditions, this jacket is a light shell model that would be perfect for city use. The black body is accented by multi-colored details–a signature of atmos–on the underarm, zippers and zip pulls. Ventilation is integrated on the underarm and underneath the back yoke to control excess moisture inside the jacket, while the outer shell is both water and wind resistant. This jacket is planned to drop around early March, and they are taking pre-orders on the atmos online shop at the moment.

Having been in the same circle of creative types for a number of years, the only thing surprising about this upcoming collaboration is why it took Eddie Cruz and Hiroshi Fujiwara so long? Right off UNDFTD‘s successes with CONVERSE Poor Man’s Weapon, Cruz unveiled the yet to be named Chuck Taylor All Star on his Instagram. While no details were given, the design looked to be predominantly red, white accents, and with logos from fragment design and UNDFTD. Rumor has it that the design might be a Valentine’s Day edition. But with that special day fast approaching, we doubt that is the case. Whatever it might be and whenever it might be release, there about to be more information to follow soon. via: Eddie Cruz
