MTN Colors Art Basel 2011 | Video

MTN Colors presents a video recap of site specific mural installations during Art Basel Miami 2011, the sprawling annual art fair that’s increasingly become a flashpoint for celebrity sightings in recent years. Yayoi Kusama Look Now, See Forever Exhibition | Australia

Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama is famous for her large-scale polka dot art. Although she does produce other works unrelated to polka dots, she is probably best known as “the lady with polka dots.” Kusama loves polka dots so much, she is always seen wearing dresses with polka dot patterns and matching brightly colored hair. All craziness aside, Kusama also holds the record as the highest selling female artist in the world. The artistic genius has graced the Land Down Under, at the Gallery of Modern Art in Australia, where the Look Now, See Forever exhibition is taking place right now. The biggest attraction of the exhibition is the Obliteration Room, which begins its life as an empty white room, only to be gradually decorated by children who are given colorful stickers. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out the works of this prolific artist if you are in the area. via: Juxtapoz
