Nike One Time Only Clerks Pack Colors

Design innovation at is about playing with your history and taking it further. The uppers of the legendary Air Max shoes became the canvas for something remarkable.

Throughout its history, Nike has worked with several collaborating design partners. One of these collaborations is the Clerk Packs in conjunction with select retail partners worldwide. Leyva and Clarke selected 4 of their favorite clerk pack colorways and applied them to the One Time Only silhouettes. They also made use of the identical materials that were originally applied on the Clerk Pack models. The Foot Patrol Air Stab colorway decorates the Air Max 90.The Air Max 95 takes its bacon colored make-up from the Daves Quality Meats Air Max 90. The vibrant Air Max 97 uses the Union Stores Air Force 180 color picking. Each example makes use of the identical materials that were sourced for the original Clerk Pack models. The Air Max 360 sports a totally new make up; a multi-colored polka-dot treatment was fashioned to decorate the upper.

Nike One Time Only LE Woven Footscape 360

s design team honed in on their inspiration and pushed it even further with the fusion of the recent Woven Air Footscape upper and the Air Max 360.

This series is a merge of two new technologies, the Woven Air Footscape and Nikes newest Air innovation– Air Max 360. The Woven Air Footscape is a blend of a sustainable Nike Considered product that uses no lining or glues on the upper, reducing the amount of materials needed for production.

Freshness Feature: PHENOMENON

Hypothesize for a moment, that you own a successful clothing line, which is now at a juncture. Do you follow the current trends, which guarantee a certain success in the near term? Or, do you experiment and take on risk of failure?

Japanese rapper Big-O came to such a juncture in 2002. Back then, SWAGGER, (which Freshness featured a few month back) the clothing brand he established with fellow rapper Iggy, already enjoyed a certain success in the Tokyo street wear scene. However, knowing there might be something more out there, Big-O decided on the latter: experiment and to hell with the risk. What was a personal experiment on mixing luxury and street became SWAGGER’s second line, PHENOMENON.

213 rue Saint Honore
Paris, France
www.colette.fr

There is a situation at 213 rue Saint Honore in Paris known as Colette and this location represents an idea. Rather, it is a compilation of innovative yet grounded notions concerning how a “boutique” in France might embody the mantra, “styledesignartfood.” Three theaters of interaction give shape to a surprising, albeit expected, level of entertainment. We say that the entertainment is expectantly surprising because the shop has fast become world famous for its artistically sound product presentations which rethink how consumers observe, interact, and purchase their goods. Art and fashion come to a boiling frenzy amid hi-technology and streetwear. All the senses are served exponentially as members of the Colette audience may pleasure their palettes in the downstairs water bar and mini-supermarket, as they bathe in the glow of a giant plasma screen exuding an energetic bouquet of image and sound.

What factors influenced the conception and execution of the location?

An original space, a great team, fantastic designers, a frustration, a dream the desire to bring together many different brands and objects from around the world all in the one place in Paris!

We use the term location because Colette is significantly more than a clothing boutique. However, if Colette could dictate how it was labeled or categorized what words would it use and why?

I like “location” too! Let’s just say we’re a meeting place because we like the idea of nurturing
connections between artists, musicians, designers, etc and our visitors / clientele.

Redman is a sneakerhead; so much so that he is opening his own sneaker store in Staten Island, NYC. Redman also hints about his upcoming sneaker with Run Athletics as well. Here’s more Redman on Kicks…

Redman, thanks for taking the time to speak with the sneaker community. What was your first pair of sneakers?

Wow, I’d have to say some Pro-Keds or Geeps. Real hood like. I’ve even had them pairs of knock off Chinese kicks, that kinda sound like Nikes. The first legit pair of shoes I rocked was the Patrick Ewings.

Freshness Feature: Michael Ditullo

Interview with Michael Ditullo – Brand Jordan Designer

Interview by Thomas Bradley
Produced by DAN H.

What type of role did Michael Jordan and his “Air” Jordan sneaker line play in your life growing up?

I grew up in a pretty modest family. My parents would not let me buy AJ’s, even when I got my own job, which instantly made them that much more attractive to me. I remember going to the mall when the V’s, VI’s, and VII’s came out and trying them on just to study them in person. As a kid, looking at something so crazy and futuristic, I had a gut feeling that there had to be some kind of job that involved drawing these things. Now I get paid to do what I got in trouble for in math class and my mom can’t stop me from getting my J’s.
