After the short trip to Baltimore, we decided to skip the cold winter weekend in NYC and caught an early Friday morning flight to Los Angeles. The warm weather was not the only selling point to be in LA for the weekend, Kobe Bryant was schedule to unveil the Zoom Kobe II to the press on Saturday. World renowned sneaker artist Dave White, along with Trust Nobody will be debuting Dave’s new set of works – The Court’s A Battlefield. The new collection of works is inspired by the Air Force 1 and it’s 25th Anniversary celebration as well as the machines of battle. Tom gets some answers from Dave on his new subject matter and the Dave White Brand. Dave also sent in some last minute shots of his U.S.A.F. Air Force 1 Customs. To celebrate the 25 years of Air Force 1, Nike Thailand is holding an exhibition at Bangkok’s Bedtime Story at Siam Square from the January 18th to February 11th. There will be a “soft opening” on the 18th, then on the 19th there will be a grand opening. The exhibition will consist of 70 pairs of rare Air Force 1s from Thai collectors. If you happen to be in the area, you should drop by and take a look. More to come from this event!

Nike will kick-off its celebration in the Philippines with a party at one of Manila’s hottest night spots – FIAMMA. Join the whole local sneaker community as they celebrate Nike’s most iconic shoe – the AIR FORCE ONE.
This event will be followed by a sneaker exhibit which will run from the 4th week of January until mid-February. Venue and the exact dates will later be announced.
