New from Timberland are three colorways of the GT Scramble Mid Leather, two in textured brown leather and a third in rich blue suede. All three mid-styled boots feature waterproof construction as well as superior comfort, thanks to an EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and shock absorption. A rubber Vibram sole is good for traction on any surface, while the classic silhouette allows for ease of wear on the trail or city street. Finally, contrast coloring at the laces and outsole deliver a welcome pop of color. The Timberland GT Scramble Mid Leather is expected to land soon at Tokyo’s Styles.

Although the Roccia Vet you see here originated life as a hunting boot, Diemme trimmed it down to re-appropriate it for city use. In this particular model, the traditional leather uppers were replaced by a 41% kevlar, Keprotec fabric made by Schoeller in Switzerland. It is made from a high-tensile aramide fibers allowing for supreme durability while offering temperature stability within the boots. Moving slightly away from hiking boot styles, Diemme is introducing a brand new design, Firenze, for the Fall/Winter 2011 season. Its traditional silhouette is accented by full grain leather uppers from Italian tannery, Conceria Emmedue. These boots enjoy the stamped texture and the dark uppers are contrasted by cream Vibram Morflex soles. These soles are said to be much lighter than rubber soles, while offering superb traction and cushioning. On the inside, the lining is made from cow hide for maximum comfort, along with the vegetable latex footbed. Sure, designers’ spring collections are already starting to land in stores as we speak, but many parts of the country are still in the grips of Old Man Winter. Don’t attempt to conquer slushy sidewalks and streets without the proper equipment — namely, these cold weather boots from Sorel, a company that’s been manufacturing blizzard-resistant footwear since the 1960s. Ronnie Fieg‘s Kith stores have four styles in stock: the Caribou, Cheyanne, Kitchener Frost and Maverick, all featuring waterproof construction and vulcanized rubber treads. Another update on his wild American West theme, Jeremy Scott reconstituted the typical adidas Originals sneakers into a pair of classic Monk Strap Shoes. But being that this is from Jeremy Scott, there won’t be anything subtle about it. A mix of fine leather and faux pony hair upper, Scott added brogue silver hardware and rhinestone details, features any urban cowboys would appreciate. Release next month as part of adidas Originals Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

In what could be his most audacious fashion statement thus far, designer Jeremy Scott let it be known of his support on the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy revocation with this pink JS Combat Boots for adidas Originals. In full grain leather, albeit a pink one, Scott furthers the controversy with hints of bondage theme in the forms of leather straps and miniature adidas emblazoned padlocks. Available in unisex sizing, the boots will be release as a part of adidas Originals Jeremy Scott Collection for February 2012.

A staple of American West, cowboy boots aren’t just brogue showpiece that you wore but an emblem of individuality. This coming February, you can express the individuality even more freely with the JS MEGA Softcell Cowboy Boots from adidas Originals Jeremy Scott. Each is to feature the comfortable MEGE Softcell sole to dampen shock and other unpleasantness. The design also includes an ostentatious decor in black and white, a typical Jeremy Scott trademark. The JS MEGA Softcell Cowboy Boots will be available next month at select adidas Originals retail locations.

The Ransom x adidas Originals collection frequently offers up a unique, modern twist on traditional men’s footwear. The Alan CS-ELT is a prime example, featuring a classic oxford silhouette built with a cream-colored leather upper that sits on a sporty crepe sole. Embossed heel logo, tonal leather pull tab and double-branded tongue make up the few extraneous design elements on a very clean pair of shoes. For the guy who’s looking for an alternative to the traditional suede buck, these are a stylish addition to your springtime wardrobe. They’re available now through Japan’s atmos.

Last fall, adidas Originals stepped into the boot market in an effort to provide its fans with a footwear option more appropriate for the colder winter months. While it is not a complete alternative to a work boot, the adi Navvy Boot arrives with thick white midsoles and a traditional hiking sole, which gives you both comfort and stability you need in less-than-ideal conditions. In addition to the full-grain leather upper launched last September, adidas Originals now presents the adi Navvy with a suede upper with twill fabric on the heels in either an indigio/white colorway or a more traditional black/white. Leather still makes an appearance in the stitched laces, which slip through the polished brash eyelets. The sooner you make your way to atmos to sign-up for a pair, the sooner they’ll be released.
