How fanatical are customers of The Hundreds? Just ask Sade, whose father got her hooked on the California-base lifestyle label. She actually inked The Hundred’s mascot, Adam Bomb, on her waistline (Bobby & Ben would be proud). But certainly you would not need a tattoo or other painful adornments to show your love, as demonstrated this morning on SoHo’s Grand Street. Hundreds, and no pun intended, of shoppers lined up since the early morning hours just catch a glimpse of The Hundreds New York, the latest and largest of the 3 retail spots it operate, not to mention stocking up of the exclusive THNY Grand Street Collection. No need to fret if you missed the opening, the store will remain opened till 7 pm this evening along this Saturday and Sunday for Labor Day Weekend. So swing by and see for your self.

Certainly its becoming a seasonal event, we’re talking about the line-up in front of Supreme for its Fall/Winter 2010 Collection launch, which took place just a few hours ago at the apparel label’s Lafayette Street flagship here in New York City. Even though most items will be available at its online store next week, around 100 fans of Supreme just couldn’t wait that long. Some stayed in their cars over night while most arrived around 8 am this morning to get ahead of the queue. Like any busy stretch of New York City, plenty of happenings surrounded the line-up. One block over, GAP took over Crosby Street for its Holiday 2010 photo shoot. Around the corner, Nylon magazine is creating a miniature mural for its Nylon x Smart ad campaign. The festivities were such that a street vendor stopped next to oncoming traffic and set up shop. The Fall/Winter 2010 Collection for Supreme is now available at its North American flagships in New York and Los Angeles, follow by launches in its retail locations in Japan this Saturday and online store next Thursday.

We at Freshness celebrate innovation. adidas has been hitting hard of late with their Originals collections, and the designs that sprung from the minds of Jeremy Scott, James Bond, and Kazuki Kuraishi (KzK) continue to impress. Founded in 1924 and with unparalleled international success, adidas has a rich and storied history. And while they could simply “retro” old models in new colorways season after season, it seems that they have avoided simply resting on their laurels. A project like the recently-launched MEGA proves that there can be more to heritage than simple re-releases. With MEGA, adidas is revisiting old models with contemporary flair. We got the chance to chat with Noah Bernard, Category Manager, adidas Originals Footwear, and the conversation reveals the intricacy and inspirations behind a project that fuses old and new.

Remember LACOSTE RED!, the younger, more playful and energetic brother of LACOSTE? After the colorful line-up debut in New York on the Spring/Summer 2009 runway, the collection has been garnering a lot of attention from the youthful and younger fashion conscious crowd. Two years later, RED! grows up and evolves into a newly christened line, LACOSTE L!VE. Keeping the RED! spirit alive, LACOSTE L!VE keeps the excitement going with the exclamation point, and continues to reinterpret classic LACOSTE codes with a contemporary touch.

While their first boutique in LA was about the modern street culture, its expansion beyond the usual fare of t-shirts and hoodies, their second venture up in San Francisco was that of time warp horror house and fun. Now comes their third venue and their first venture on the East Coast as The Hundreds set to open The Hundreds New York this Friday, September 3rd. Set on another tail-spinning time travel theme, where the past history of the city and its present day form are both explored, the new boutique, located just around the corner from Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer, is one where past, present, and bit of the future all coincide. Or is the order in reverse?

The notion of “To Love and Lost Is Better Than Have Not Love At All” maybe a false one for those ever been in a romantic relationship. Be it a crush, one that is unrequited, a date, or the ultimate expression of romance, marriage, the supposed happiness is in actuality just a morsel of it. Instead to most of either sex, romance is a trial by fire, except there is no end in sight. For those been through this crucible or still of this journey, L.A.-base apparel label Crooks & Castles formulated the True Romance Anti-Social Club, a pictorial lookbook which not only feature the C&C’s Fall 2010 Collection (delivery 2) but an expressionless visual of those been “chew up & spit out “ by this wonderful thing call love, at least in terms of make believe. Meanwhile, all items are now available on Crooks & Castles online store and its Sunset Blvd retail location in Los Angeles.
