RZA has gotten together with Charisma Apps to introduce RZA’s World, something that will give fans a glimpse into the world of the rapper/producer/actor/composer. RZA’s World is broken down into four chambers: Soundtrack to Your Life, in which RZA provides original beats and worldly advice; RZA’s Chess Chamber, which offers 3D gameplay (remember, a game of chess is like a sword fight); The Vault, where one can find archival content including two Bobby Digital films; and finally, What’s News — the latest news on the man himself. RZA, the producer, rapper and founding member of seminal hip hop collective the Wu-Tang Clan, entered into a partnership earlier this year with Swedish fashion label WeSC on his own line of headphones, dubbed the Chambers by RZA and available in two models, the Premium and Street. December 1st saw the official launch party for the headsets at L.A.’s Trousdale club. Presented by RZA and hosted by Mike Epps, the event featured a live performance by Talib Kweli, as well as DJ sets from Paul Banks of Interpol, and “WeActivitsts” Lady Tigra, Pase Rock and Eddie House of Steed Lord. Among the famous names in attendance that evening were Marilyn Manson, Russel Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eli Roth, Victor Rasuk, Fergie and Josh Duhamel. adidas and Foot Locker are giving us an early look at their commercial for the adidas adiZero Crazy Light, set to debut tomorrow on ESPN, MTV, BET, Comedy Central and the Cartoon Network. Featuring NBA heavyweights Dwight Howard, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday, alongside rapper Big Sean, the spot delineates the significance of 9.8 ounces — a measure that’s both nothing and everything. Without that seemingly insignificant amount, packed arenas become empty houses, VIP status reverts to JV standing. Google is finally unveiling its Google Music service which should be great news for Android users. It is said that 23 independent music labels, including EMI, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal, will be offering music to fill up a catalogue of 13 million songs. What is more, the Apple iTunes contender will be offering its services to Google+ social networks as well. To kick off the program, Google Music will be debuting the latest studio album from Busta Rhymes, as well as The Rolling Stones and Coldplay who will be adding their never before seen live performances to the online store.
Furthermore there is the additional Artist Hub, which allows unsigned artists to create their own page at $25 fee, enabling them to market their own music at price set by themselves. In turn Google will take 30% of each sale from the musicians in the Artist Hub. Currently this store is only offered to US customers and there are no talks on whether this service will be offered to countries outside of US.

Together with British illustrator Jamie Hewlett, CONVERSE announced its new collaborative Chuck Taylor All Star with world famous virtual band Gorillaz. To coincide with its 10th anniversary retrospective album, “Singles Collection: 2001-2011″, set to release on November 28th, Hewlett created exclusive prints for Chuck Taylor’s centenarian silhouette. Each component an intricate part of the band, the collection will encompass four different designs, including the military camouflage pattern first seen on Gorillaz’s debut album. Alterations were made on the hang tag and heel tab as well for this special collection.
As part of the collaboration, Gorillaz will not only take part in CONVERSE’s “Three Artists. One Song” music campaign. It will also host a Gorillaz Sound System at the legendary 100 Club in London, England. An evening full of audio & visual wonderment and a rare occasion to see 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs perform live.
