While the adidas aficionados among you will recognize this upcoming ZX 8000 in White/Supergreen/Purple isn’t a new colorway, the soft pastel tones make for a good harbinger of spring, and a refreshing sense of renewal the season occasions. The construction of the shoe, on the other hand, is firmly rooted in the past. It features the Torsion system adidas introduced to runners in the 1980s that worked with the foot’s natural tendency to have independent motion of the heel and forefoot, creating superior stability and control. Today, we appreciate the shoe for its retro good looks, though the comfortable fit certainly doesn’t hurt. Look for this adidas ZX 8000 to drop at select retailers starting in March. via: Suelas de Goma

In a trend that would probably be a bit troublesome to its early innovators, Nike is becoming more and more comfortable with launching silhouettes that have no home in any particular sport. Sure, models like the Dunk have long been removed from their original context, but even that lifestyle juggernaut began as a basketball shoe. The all new Nike Manor is quite different, its casual DNA exemplified by the swooshless silhouette and NSW branding on the tongue. Right out of the gate the Manor is up for grabs in two premium releases, with the mint green and khaki colorways both available now. Check out the detailed images of both after the jump and grab the Nike Manor PRM from HANON SHOP now.

If there’s any one sneaker company with a particular affection for themed releases it has to be Supra, with the Crown Brand constantly cranking out two and three pair packs that are unified in their overall aesthetic. With that being said it seemed pretty obvious that they wouldn’t let Valentines Day go without pumping out some sneakers to go along with that special day in the middle of February. And they are indeed delivering in the form of the Love Pack, at three part collection that includes the Cuttler Low, the Society Mid, and the Skytop. The full range of heights keeps things versatile, each one coming with a crackled blood red upper with their signature TUF finish applied. Follow us after the jump for a look at all three and grab the Love Pack from Supra online now.

Topping off succession of special editions for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game are the signature footwear for Jordan Brand athletes Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. For his seventh back-to-back appearance as an All-Star, Dwayne Wade will put his best game forward with the new Fly Wade 2 in Varsity Royal/Midnight Navy. Hyperfuse upper along with a Lunarlon midsole, the lightweight ultra responsive design perfectly complement to Wade’s style of play. The same goes for Carmelo Anthony, who joins Wade on Team East, marking the fifth time he’s on the All-Star roster. For his power plays and explosive rushes through the opposition, Jordan Brand created the Jordan Melo M8, also in Varsity Royal/Midnight Navy, with ample protection like a heel Max Air unit and Nike Zoom at the forefoot. Recently traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, Chris Paul will take to the court in Orlando as a member of Team West. Designed with a multitude of components such as Podulon technology, Phylon midsole, Cushlon upper, and Flywire overlay, Paul’s CP3.V might not only be the lightest CP3 edition, but the most advanced as well. In Gym Red colorway, Paul looks onto to defend West Coast’s All-Star Game title in his fifth consecutive All-Star appearance next month.

visvim reflected on its own Japanese culture for influence this season, naming the Spring/Summer 2012 collection Japanism. As many would know, Japanese culture is rich in traditional crafts and ‘sashiko’ is one of the traditional methods of decorating garments. Ordinarily, sashiko is applied to cotton fabrics, yet visvim had decided to give it a modern twist by decorating the suede upper of the Flynt Hi sneakers. The hand stitched pattern works perfectly with the soft appearance of the footwear, giving it a personality. Instead of the usual woven labels, these sneakers feature a printed leather tag on the tongue. Four colorways are available in black, green, navy, and blue at visvim stockists around the world.

ASICS have been the underdog in the sneaker scene, with only a handful of connoisseurs understanding its true potential. Apart from being an excellent running shoe, these Gel Lyte models were developed in 1989 and have attained steady fan base. This particular Gel Lyte Speed model was designed with a lifestyle angle in mind and are dubbed the Tomatoes due to the tomato red highlights. Its distinct split tongue design stands out, thanks to the bright yellow tone pitted against navy foreground. The rest of the shoes are predominantly white and tomato red splatters can be found on the otherwise plain midsoles. Head over to HANON SHOP who are stocking these sneakers in their retail store and online shop.
